Middle Tennessee State University professor: What the UN is doing for young people is crucial

Professor of journalism at the Middle Tennessee State University Sanjay Asthana has hailed what the United Nations is doing for young people.

“I think it is very crucial what the UN is doing for young people,” he told AZERTAC`s correspondent. He stressed the importance of the forum in building bridges across different religions. “Particularly Azerbaijan for me is very crucial because it has a mix of different religions because backgrounds of people Christians and Muslims and also it is like a bridge between Europe and Asia and the rest of the world. So that is more important for me. Particularly when I look at this event today I am very happy to see a lot of young faces and bright, big dreams trying to connect, trying to understand, make the world better place for all of us,” Mr Asthana added.
