A+ A

Baku, June 10, AZERTAC

A Montenegrin military helicopter has crashed on the outskirts of the capital injuring two crew members, one seriously, according to Associated Press.

Associated Press reporters at the scene said the aircraft didn't catch fire as it crashed Friday in a field southwest of Podgorica.

Eyewitness Rasim Softic says: "I heard a sound and came out and saw a helicopter trying to land. Then it crashed."

Local people pulled out the two crew members, of whom one was unconscious, before ambulances arrived.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the SA341 Gazelle helicopter to go down.
