A meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Council of Interior Ministers will be held in Minsk on September 2, according to CIS headquarters. The meeting will accentuate the priority matters on cooperation between the interior ministries of CIS countries and implementation of interstate programs to fight crime. The agenda will also address such issues as fight against cybercrime, theft of vehicles, organized crime prevention.
The meeting will also discuss the prevention of unlawful acts by members of informal associations of sports fans during the international mass sports and entertainment events, cooperation in countering trafficking of drugs, psychotropic substances and potentially hazardous chemicals.
