Moldova's parliament has endorsed by a tiny margin of one vote the cabinet led by Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet and its programme of action, according to TASS.
As many as 51 of the total 101 deputies voted for it.
The cabinet consists of members of the right-wing pro-Western Democratic, Liberal Democratic and Liberal parties, who have re-created Alianta pentru Integrare Europeana (Alliance for European Integration) in the wake of resignation of the previous cabinet led by Chiril Gaburici.
"The new government will make struggle with the economic crisis sweeping all branches of the economy, struggle with corruption, and solution of social problems, including timely payments of wages and pensions, its priorities," Strelet said.
