Moldova`s National Anti-Corruption Center`s delegation visits Azerbaijan

Baku, December 19 AZERTAC 

A delegation led by Moldovan National Anti-Corruption Center`s deputy director Vadim Cojocaru has visited Azerbaijan.

The visit aimed to strengthen relations between prosecutor`s offices of Azerbaijan and Moldova.

The delegation first visited the Alley of Honors to lay wreath at the tomb of national leader, founder and architect of modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.

They also put flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.

They then visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country's independence and territorial integrity.

The delegation has met Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Zakir Garalov, who spoke about the mutual relations between the two countries. Garalov highlighted the socio-political developments gained by the enormous efforts of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for construction of legal-democratic state, the socio-economic reforms conducted under his leadership, as well as the measures in the legal-enforcement bodies to establish stability in the country.

The delegation praised the activity of “ASAN service”.
