National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan elected WAY Board member

Representative of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA) Leyla Israfilova has been elected member of the Board of the World Assembly of Youth (WAY) uniting 120 youth platforms of world.
The decision was adopted at the action for adoption of the annual report of WAY held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
The National Assembly of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan was elected full member of the Organization and will be responsible for establishment of relations among the WAY and the European youth platforms.
NAYORA Chairman Shahin Seyidzade said the WAY Board membership opens new opportunities for future cooperation.
The World Assembly of Youth (WAY) is the international coordinating body of national youth councils and national youth organisations. The full members of WAY are national youth councils. WAY currently has 120 member organisations from all continents and co-operates with the UN and many of its special agencies, particularly with UNAIDS, UNEP, ILO, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNICEF and WHO.
