Next trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian defense ministers to take place in Georgia

“Georgia will host the next trilateral meeting of the ministers of defense of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey this July,” Georgia’s Minister of Defense Tinatin Khidasheri has told journalists.

“We efficiently cooperate with Azerbaijan and Turkey in the sphere of defense. Azerbaijan has lately hosted the trilateral meeting and we discussed a lot of important issues there. I believe that such meetings will strengthen and develop our relations in the military sphere.”

Khidasheli said: “Our main goal is to restore stability in the region and turn the Southern Caucasus into a safe place. I believe that we will achieve this through concerted efforts.” “We will discuss a number of important issues of the regional and global security, and trilateral cooperation. Presently we work on details of the meeting,” she added.
