Azerbaijani judo fighter Rustam Orujov has won silver of the Summer Olympic Games to seal the first medal for Azerbaijan in Rio.

Azerbaijani judo fighter Rustam Orujov has tonight guaranteed an Olympic silver after reaching the final in Rio.

The Azerbaijani judo fighter defeated Israeli Sagi Muki by yuk in the semifinal.

Orujov will take on Japanese Shohei Ono in the final.

Azerbaijani judo fighter Rustam Orujov (73kg) has progressed to the semifinal of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games after defeating Hungarian Miklos Ungvari.

Orujov will next face Israeli Sagi Muki.

Orujov will face Miklos Ungvari from Hungary in the quarter final round. Ungvari won silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
