Pakistani companies interested in cooperation with SOCAR

Pakistani companies and SOCAR have broad prospects for cooperation on trading of oil and oil products, said president of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev, as he met Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, within the International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi.

According to the press service of SOCAR, addressing the meeting, Rovnag Abdullayev spoke of developing friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. He also informed about the latest achievements in the oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan, as well as the company's global and regional projects, saying that, these projects serve development of international energy security.

Stressing the involving of SOCAR in international energy market, R. Abdullayev informed about company's investment programs carried out in foreign countries.

İn turn, the Pakistani minister expressed their interest in cooperation with SOCAR, exchanged views on prospects of cooperation in various sectors of the oil and gas industry, as well as trading of oil and oil products.
