Rector of Ulyanovsk State University visits Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku

Head of the Baku-based Russian Information and Cultural Center (Rossotrudnichestbo) Valentin Denisov met with the rector of Ulyanovsk State University Boris Kostishko and his deputy Tatyana Kirillova. They discussed prospects of cooperation between Rossotrudnichestvo in Azerbaijan and Ulyanovsk State University in the field of education. Boris Kostishko said Ulyanovsk State University wants the number of Azerbaijani students studying at the higher education facility increase.

Ulyanovsk State University is one of the youngest universities in Russia. It was created in 1988 as a branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and in 1995 became an independent institution. The university has 11 faculties and institutes.

The university enrolls about 16,000 students, among them almost 200 foreign citizens from Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America.
