Romania's National Day marked in Baku

The Romanian Embassy organized an official reception on the occasion of national holiday of the country, Romania’s Unification Day.
Romanian ambassador, Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, spoke of the current development of his country.
Touching upon the Azerbaijan-Romania relations, the Ambassador said that, high-level mutual visits contribute to the development of strategic cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking at the event, Energy Minister Natig Aliyev congratulated the Romanian people on the occasion of the national holiday on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani minister highlighted that, the relations between the two countries were founded by the official visit of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to Bucharest in 1995.
The sides expressed their confidence for the future rapid development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Romania.
Officials, ambassadors, MPs, members of the public attended the event.
