Rome to host conference on combating human trafficking in Europe
Rome, September 17 (AZERTAC). Rome will host a conference on methods of combating trafficking in human beings in Europe on Thursday.
The conference will be co-organized by the Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and Italy’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Azerbaijan`s delegation to PACE will attend the conference.
The two-day event will feature discussions over Istanbul Convention as a criterion for combating violence against women, promotion of an awareness-raising campaign and creation of special mechanisms related to women rights.
