Russian President Vladimir Putin visits Azerbaijan's center at VDNKh

The Center for Oceanography and Marine Biology "Moskvarium" has been launched at VDNKh (All-Russia Exhibition Centre) in Moscow.
The Center was built by the «Kievskaya Ploshchad» company, owned by the businessmen of Azerbaijani origin God Nisanov and Zarah Iliev, according to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation.
The opening ceremony was attended by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin briefed the parftiocipants on reconstruction of the exhibition space. Sergei Sobyanin also said that the construction of Europe's largest research and educational Oceanography Centre was completed in July of this year.
President Putin also familiarized himself with the exhibition centers of Azerbaijan and Belarus. Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu told the Russian President that the pavilion of then Azerbaijan SSR was designed by famous Azerbaijani architects Mikail Huseynov and Sadykh Dadashov.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia noted that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation developed a plan for the reconstruction and restoration of the pavilion, which is expected to encompass the cultural and historical heritage of Azerbaijan.
