Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Francois Hollande had a telephone conversation on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Kremlin press service said.
Vladimir Putin informed his French counterpart as the head of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair country on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, about the results of the trilateral meeting held between the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on June 20 in St. Petersburg.
Russian and French Presidents expressed their hope that the results of this meeting will contribute to the development of peace process.
The two agreed to actively continue this joint work in this important area within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, the Kremlin press service added.
