“SOCAR invests in many countries around the world. But the largest investment worth $18 billion realized in Turkey. So far, this is part of a $9.5 billion investment program was implemented,” said SOCAR Turkey Energy Director General Zaur Gahramanov.
“While the rest will be implemented in coming years and will be completed by 2020,” he said.
“We do not envisage investment in Turkey for 4-5 years. We will operate in this country for a long time and our investment will continue,” he added.
SOCAR continues its activities in Turkey under the name of STEAŞ, since May 2008.
