SUMGAIT TO BE TWINNED WITH AUSTRIA`S LINZ

Sumgait, July 6 (AZERTAC). Sumgait and Austrian city of Linz are set to become twin cities as talks on signing the agreement on partnership are approaching the end.

Linz, Austria`s large industrial city, has been designated Europe`s capital of culture. Sumgait governor has been invited to the signing ceremony by Linz mayor Franz Dobusch.

Sumgait is twinned with 14 cities of 10 states including Turkey`s Ceyhan, Ukraine`s Cherkassy, China`s Chuzhou, Belarus`s Mogilyov, Italy`s Bari and Germany`s Ludwigshafen.
