State Commission of Azerbaijan urges international organisations to demand execution of Geneva Convention from Armenia

Baku, January 11, AZERTAC

State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons of Azerbaijan has urged international organisations to demand execution of Geneva Convention from Armenia.

The Commission hailed efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross and co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in connection with return of the corpse of the soldier of Azerbaijan Armed Forces Chingiz Gurbanov, who was murdered during prevention of subversive activities of the intelligence group of the Armenian military units trying to violate state borders of Azerbaijan Republic on December 29, 2016.

Taking into account that such cases took place in the past and Armenia turned such inhuman acts of keeping the corpses during long time into the tendency, the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons also urged humanitarian organisations to prevent such cases.
