Stjepan Mesic hails Croatia-Azerbaijan ties
Baku, October 7 (AZERTAC). Former President of Croatia Stjepan Mesic has praised his country`s relations with Azerbaijan.
“There is not any problem or misunderstanding between our countries,” Mr. Mesic told AZERTAC`s correspondent as he attended the 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum.
“Both countries are seeking the strengthening of their economic and cultural cooperation, and they have reached this.”
The former Croatian President also praised the organization of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum.
“The forum is of profound importance as it provides a platform for discussing topical issues.”
Mr. Mesic also commented on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, saying “such disputes must be solved through peaceful means only”.
