Sylvester Stallone memorabilia sells for over USD 3 million at auction

Stallone's famous black leather jacket from 'Rocky' sells for USD 149,000 Memorabilia from Sylvester Stallone's top films has sold for just over USD 3 million at an auction, the Euronews said.
Fans were able to bid at Heritage Auctions in Los Angeles and online, on hundreds of much coveted items from Sylvester classics such as 'Rocky', 'Rambo' and 'The Expendables'. Stallone himself opened the auction, which saw his famous black leather jacket from 'Rocky' sell for USD 149,000, the highest bid for an individual item in the sale.
While he may be selling the memorabilia, Stallone is continuing the 'Rocky' series, which began in 1976, with boxing film 'Creed' released in November. Stallone returns to the role of Rocky Balboa as a retired champion boxer who trains and mentors Adonis Johnson, played by Michael B. Jordan, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.
