TANAP, Turkish Stream to increase Turkey's importance, Minister Yildiz

Projects like Turkish Stream and Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project, TANAP will increase the value and importance of Turkey, said Taner Yildiz, the Energy and Natural Resources Minister of Turkey, according to Anadolu Agency.

He said the projects such as TANAP are made with international financing and this is a sign of trust in Turkey’s political stability.

"If you’re going to invest billion dollars in a country, you shouldn’t have doubts about it," Yildiz said.

According to him, TANAP will pass through 21 cities in Turkey and provide employment for almost 5 thousand people.

"The project will have 6 different huge building sites and will provide 5 thousand jobs, additionally it will add $10 billion to Turkish economy. With domestic production, local labour and engineering, Turkey’s technological side will improve more in the future," said Yildiz.
