Three soldiers were martyred and 24 others wounded Thursday night when PKK terrorists attacked a military post on the Diyarbakir-Lice inter-city highway in southeastern Turkey, the Turkish army has said, according to Anadolu Agency.

According to a statement on the Turkish Armed Forces' website, a bomb-laden vehicle was used in the attack.

The wounded troops have been taken into a military hospital, sources added.

More than 300 members of the security forces have been martyred since the PKK, which is also listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. and the EU, resumed its 30-year armed campaign in July 2015.
