Turkic Council Second Working Group meeting on Youth and Sports held in Istanbul

Issues of organizing Second Meeting of the Turkic Council Ministers in charge of Youth and Sports to be held in Baku were discussed at the meeting of the Working Group meeting on Youth and Sports in Istanbul.
The meeting presided by Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of Turkic Council, was attended by representatives of the ministries in charge of Youth and Sports of the Turkic Council member states, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, and Turkic University Sports Federation.
During the Second Working Group meeting of the cooperation process initiated in the field of Youth and Sports under the umbrella of the Turkic Council, the Parties discussed the current state of the ongoing cooperation, activities implemented in this process so far, the achievements obtained and the projects and works planned for the upcoming period.
Experts representing the Member States, have made evaluations on the Second meeting of the Ministers in charge of Youth and Sports to be held in Baku on 13 May 2017, the Turkic Council International Youth Camp to be held in August 2017 in Turkey and Kazakhstan, the Turkic Council Youth Platform to be put in action in the upcoming period, the First Turkic University Sports Games to be hosted by Azerbaijan in 2018, Etno-Games to be held in Turkey in May 2017 and Third World Nomad Games to be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2018.
The Regulation of the Youth Platform to be formed under the roof of the Turkic Council was finalized by the Parties. The document will be approved by the Ministers in charge of Youth and Sports of the Member States on May 13.
