Baku, April 26, AZERTAC

Representative of UNESCO Alton Grizzle, who is attending the 7th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, has highlighted the importance of gender equality as he was interviewed by AZERTAC. “Regardless of the race and religion, inclusive society is ensuring equal rights of residence. Gender equality plays a very important role in achieving sustainable development. I think the forum is very important in this respect, like a number of other issues.” “In particular, nowadays the creation of an inclusive society, against the background of world events, is the biggest problem,” he said.

Mr Grizzle also said he liked Baku very much. “The location of the city on a peninsula gives it a special beauty,” he added.
