Vietnam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association established in Hanoi VIDEO

A constituent conference of the Vietnam- Azerbaijan Friendship Association has been held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations (VUSTA) Nghiem Vu Khai was elected as the association's Chairman in the 2015-2020 period.
The establishment of the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association was approved by the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs in July 2015 as a social association operating under the Charter ratified by the Minister of the Home Affairs.
Chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Vu Xuan Hong said the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association would contribute to expanding relations between the two countries` organizations, enterprises, research institutes, and universities.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam Anar Imanov expressed his belief that with its plans put forth at the congress, the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association would contribute to promoting the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Chairman of the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Friendship Association Nghiem Vu Khai said the association would make active efforts to increase the mutual understanding, people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
