The international conference of the World Psychiatry Association (WPA) entitled “Mental health, directions and challenges” has today started in Tbilisi, Georgia.
President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili made opening remarks and highlighted the importance of the event.
The three-day conference is organized by the World Psychiatric Association in collaboration with the Society of Georgian Psychiatrists (SGP) and the Alliance for Better Mental Health (ABMH). It brings together practitioners, researchers and educators from the world who are engaged in mental health care.
About 400 leading national and international experts from 30 countries will discuss the modern approaches and future directions in mental health care.
