AGFUND CONDUCTS TRAINING COURSE IN ASTARA
The training courses conducted by the Arab Gulf Fund in the framework of the United Nations Development Program /AGFUND/ have ended in Masalli. On the last day of the course, its participants visited Astara frontier checkpoint and customs.
Having familiarized with the operations carried out against illegal drug turnover at the “southern gate” of Azerbaijan, the trainees took an opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice.
The UN Drug Control Program coordinator for the South Caucasus Mazahir Efendiyev, European Union expert Paul Cook, representative of the State Commission to fight drug addiction and illegal drugs turnover Israil Aliyev congratulated the participants and told of the activity of frontier services.
The EU expert Paul Cook presented certificates to the passers.
