Ankara hosts discussions on multilateral scientific collaboration among Turkic states

A workshop on "Science-based multilateral collaboration and co-creation among Turkic States for tackling regional and global challenges” has been held in Ankara.
The event, co-organized by of the International Turkic Academy, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TUBİTAK), was attended by representatives from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.
Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev also participated in the workshop.
In their remarks, President of TUBİTAK Professor Hasan Mandal, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, President of the International Turkic Academy Academician Shahin Mustafayev emphasized the need for Turkic-speaking countries to work together to address the regional and global challenges.
Nobel Prize laureate, Professor Aziz Sancar joined the workshop online.
The participants underlined that multilateral scientific cooperation among the Turkic states could contribute to the fight against regional and global problems.
The meeting saw discussions on the key topical issues for addressing regional and global challenges through science-based multilateral collaboration and co-creation among the Turkic states.
