Azerbaijan, Lithuania discuss education cooperation
Baku, February 1 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Lithuania Hasan Mammadzade has met the country`s Minister of Education and Science Gintaras Steponavičius to discuss prospects for education cooperation between the two countries.
Mammadzade said Azerbaijan was interested in expansion of cooperation with Lithuania in education sphere, even more. The diplomat thanked Minister Steponavičius for the conditions created for Azerbaijani students studying in Lithuanian higher educations institutes.
Mammadzade noted several Lithuanian universities had been included in “The State Program on Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad in the years 2007-2015”.
The sides underlined the necessity of establishment of direct cooperation between Azerbaijani and Lithuanian universities.
