Azerbaijan, Lithuania explore ways of developing cultural cooperation
Baku, June 2 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev has met his Lithuanian counterpart Sarunas Birutis to discuss how to contribute to boosting the bilateral cultural cooperation.
Garayev said Lithuania was an important partner for Azerbaijan in cultural area as the two met on the sidelines of the 2nd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
The Azerbaijani Minister emphasized the necessity of implementing joint projects.
Minister Birutis said Lithuania was determined to develop cultural cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Lithuanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Arturas Zhurauskas was also present at the meeting.
