Azerbaijani ambassador presents credentials to Belgian King
Baku, December 6 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Belgium Fuad Isgandarov has presented his credentials to King Albert II.
During the conversation the ambassador extended Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings to King Albert.
Ambassador Isgandarov said Azerbaijan was interested in development of relationship with Belgium in various spheres. He spoke of the ongoing processes in the Couth Caucasus region, Azerbaijan`s economic accomplishments, energy policy and cooperation with European Union.
King Albert II called Azerbaijan an important country in the region. He praised Azerbaijan`s election as a member of the UN Security Council.
The Belgian King asked the Azeri diplomat to convey his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev.
