CEIB holds meeting of Europe and Caspian-Black Sea countries’ ambassadors
Baku, January 23 (AZERTAC). The Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) held a meeting titled “Caspian-Europe Dialogue” with the participation of the ambassadors of Europe and Caspian-Black Sea region countries.
CEIB director Telman Aliyev informed about the history and its activity, noting the goal of the organization is to strengthen the contacts between the state and business structures functioning in Baku.
The head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Roland Kobia stressed high development of trade in the Caspian basin countries. According to him, the EU-Azerbaijan relations have particularly developed in the oil-gas field.
Noting the existence of rich agricultural potential in Azerbaijan, Kobia called on the businessmen from European countries to invest in this field. Rapid development is observed also in the non-oil sector, he underlined.
Ambassadors spoke of the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and their countries both in energy and non-oil sector, as well as mutual investing.
