Baku, April 26 (AZERTAC). In line with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev dated 21 January 2013, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan issued the memorial golden coins of the third generation on the 90th birthday of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

The presentation of the coins was held on 26 April at the CBA's conference 'Heydar Aliyev and financial and credit system: Achievements and challenges'.

The coins are made of the high-probe gold at the British Royal Mint in three categories. The portrait of the national leader is engraved on the coins against the background of the national ornament-the crescent and the eight-pointed star.

"The coins meet the highest aesthetic requirements and are made on the basis of the design that correspond to the international standards", the sources in the Central Bank said.

The first category coins weigh one Troy ounce (31-21g), second category-10 Troy ounce (313 g) and third category coins weigh 1 kg.
