Hungarian delegation visits Azerbaijan University of Languages
Baku, December 5 (AZERTAC). A delegation headed by Hungarian State Secretary, co-chair of Azerbaijan-Hungary joint commission on economic cooperation Peter Siyarto has visited Azerbaijan University of Languages to meet the rector Samad Seyidov.
They stressed the importance of the Hungary-Azerbaijan developing relations, the expansion of the cooperation between the two countries` higher education institutions.
Mr. Seyidov hailed steadily developing relations between the two countries.
Mr. Seyidov in particular noted parliamentary relations and the activity of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian parliamentary friendship group.
The rector informed guests about the activities of University, international relations and the reached successes.
Peter Siyarto, in turn, noted that the relations between the two countries dynamically developed, especially the economic-political cooperation gave a push to the versatile cooperation relations.
Siyarto stressed that Hungary was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in energy sphere, praising integration of Azerbaijan into the Euro-Atlantic space and participation in the "Eastern Partnership” program. He also spoke about the importance of the expansion of the cooperation between the two countries` higher education institutions and the possibility of exchange of professors and students of universities.
They also exchanged views on opening of the Hungarian Centre and teaching Hungarian language at the University.
