Italy hosts exhibition on colours of Nizami Ganjavi`s world
Baku, June 22 (AZERTAC). An exhibition entitled “Colours of Nizami Ganjavi`s world” has been held at the Galleria d'Arte Consorti centre in Rome, Italy.
Azerbaijani artists Shahla Gahramanova, Gunay Hasanova, and Narmina Valiyeva, as well as Italian Ilaria Rezzi and Martina Donati demonstrated their works dedicated to well-known Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi.
Head of the Azerbaijan-Italy Association Paola Casagrande provided an insight into life of Nizami Ganjavi.
Paola Casagrande also highlighted series of events and cultural relations between the two countries.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov provided information about the reforms carried out in the country after gaining the independence, adding today Azerbaijan as a result of successful foreign policy turned the leader of the Southern Caucasus region.
The event saw speeches by members of Azerbaijani Parliament, as well as Chairman of Friendship Group on Azerbaijan-Italy inter-parliamentary ties Azar Karimli, Director of Nizami Museum of Azerbaijani Literature Rafael Huseynov.
