Italy hosts meeting on “Student Support and Development Services” project
Baku, December 18 (AZERTAC). A meeting entitled “Student Support and Development Services” was held at Piccolo Auditorium - Reiss Romoli of University of L’Acquila in Italy, as part of the Tempus Project.
Director of Khazar University Library and Information Center Tatyana Zaytseva attended the meeting.
The event has brought together representatives from 22 partner organizations, as well as 7 countries, including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Estonia, and Israel.
The key goal of the project is to establish advanced and updated services able to meet the needs of a globalized world for students and alumni, based on specially designed methodologies and tools according to the best European practices, and to develop a quality assurance culture among students and staff in higher education institutions.
According to the selection criteria established at the consortium level, each PC University will identify 3 staff members and the students’ associations will select one representative for the re-training in the EU.
