Poland starts the program of activation of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Poland has started implementation of the program of activation of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The Polish Agencja M Promotion is engaged implementation of this program to last till May 25 current year. In her interview to AZERTAC correspondent, the project assistant Katarzyna Baranovskaya said that implementation of the program is supported by the department of assistance to trade and investments of the Embassy of Poland in Kazakhstan which supervises also the program in Azerbaijan.
“The most perspective for cooperation between Poland and Azerbaijan are construction, the food industry and transport branches of economy. The main goal of this program is granting to the Polish and Azerbaijani businessmen opportunity to find new partners and improve trade relations in the field of the mentioned spheres” - Baranovskaya noted.
The program of activation of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan consists of three points. It is the organization and implementation of two educational and practical visits to Poland of the Azerbaijani businessmen representing construction and food sector of economy.
The second point of the Polish program of activation of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan is the organization of conference to discuss possibilities of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in food, construction and transport branches. Special support in carrying out this conference is made by the Ministry of Economy of Poland. According to Baranovskaya, the conference will be followed by tasting of the main Polish export food.
The third point of the program is carrying out a PR campaign of “Made in Poland” in Azerbaijan by means of advertizing articles in trade publications.
Note that Poland included Azerbaijan in group of 11 countries which it estimates as especially perspective and especially important from the point of view of potential and development of mutual commodity turnover.
