President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev endorsed the “Plan of actions in 2006-2007 on improvement of transport system in Baku”.

The Decree aims at organization of the efficient operation and development of transport in the city of Baku, construction of modern highways and road installations, passages and stops, improvement of legislative base for regulation of the public transport and working out and implementation of necessary actions in this direction.

Cabinet of Ministers and appropriate departments and executive bodies are assigned to ensure the mentioned plan.
