REGULAR SESSION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC HELD
Regular session of the Constitutional Court of the Azerbaijan Republic was held on August 8.
As AzerTAj was informed from the press service of the Constitutional Court, the definition of adoption to the legal proceedings of the Constitutional Court was submitted in the session for consideration of inquiry of the Office of Public Prosecutor of the Azerbaijan Republic related to the interpretation of provision of 179.1 Article of the Election Code of the Azerbaijan Republic “…if this occasion happens after the appointment of presidential elections, the current elections are stopped and extraordinary presidential elections are appointed.”
Session of the Constitutional Court on consideration of the core of the inquiry was appointed on August 15, 2003.
