Baku, November 4 (AZERTAC). Deputy chairperson of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, co-chairperson of the Azerbaijan-Russia inter-parliamentary commission Svetlana Orlova has said Russia has no problems with Azerbaijani migrants and the Azerbaijani diaspora in general.

Speaking to journalists in Baku, she noted like all other countries, Russia also had problems with migrants, and is taking measures to tackle them.

Orlova touched upon the goal of her visit, saying “we discussed the issues of mutual concern between the two countries during both the meeting of the inter-parliamentary commission between the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, as well as during our bilateral meetings.”

“We, in particular, explored prospects for developing the bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, trade, agricultural, educational and humanitarian fields.”

She also praised Azerbaijan`s development, saying the country has considerably changed since her last visit two years ago.
