The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has achieved another international success with its results in the digitalization of public administration and data-driven decision-making, the center told AZERTAC.
The Center was announced as the winner of two prestigious awards under the "Global Banking & Finance Awards 2026" program established by "GBAF Media," an international media organization operating in the UK and Northern Ireland:
 “Best Digital Government Initiative (Smart Monitoring Platform) – Azerbaijan 2026”
 “Excellence in Innovation – Data-Driven Governance – Azerbaijan 2026”
At the core of the success achieved across the two nominations lies the Smart Monitoring Platform established by CAERC. The platform enables the collection of data on state strategies and programs within a unified digital environment, the systematic tracking of implementation processes, the measurement of results, and the timely identification of risks. Thus, monitoring is transformed from a mere report collection process into a flexible and intelligent mechanism that guides governance decisions.
The “Excellence in Innovation – Data-Driven Governance” award confirms that in CAERC’s operations, data is utilized not just as a statistical resource, but as strategic capital for the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of state policy. This approach embodies a new phase of digital state-building in Azerbaijan—a governance model where data turns into decisions, and decisions turn into measurable results.
The international success achieved is a logical outcome of the digital transformation policy pursued under the leadership of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the application of innovative technologies in public administration, and the importance given to the result-oriented execution of strategic programs. These awards also demonstrate the strengthening of Azerbaijan’s international position as a country that not only applies digital solutions but also creates modern and smart governance models.
According to the provided official registration certificates, the titles "Global Banking & Finance Awards" and "Global Banking & Finance Review Awards" are officially registered as trademarks under the name of "GBAF Publications Limited" in the Register of Trade Marks of the UK and Northern Ireland. This legal registration demonstrates that the brand identity, origin, and institutional authenticity of the award program are officially protected.
