Fans from 38 countries have already purchased tickets for the 2026 World Judo Championships in Baku, Rashad Rasullu, Executive Vice President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, told AZERTAC.
Noting that the competition has attracted considerable interest from fans, he added: “Since ticket sales opened, we have witnessed strong engagement from both local and international judo enthusiasts. Tickets for the World Championships have already been purchased by fans from 38 countries. This is a significant indication of the strong international appeal of the competition in Baku.”
The World Judo Championships will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena from October 4 to 11.
