“A long-term and comprehensive urban development concept is being implemented in Khankendi, alongside large-scale reconstruction efforts,” Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov told AZERTAC on the sidelines of the diplomatic corps’ visit to Khankendi.
The ambassador particularly highlighted the importance of Garabagh University, noting that training a new generation of specialists is of great strategic importance for the future of Garabagh.
“I see a spark in the eyes of the students studying here. This is very encouraging, as training a new generation of specialists is of great importance for the future of Garabagh,” Bahrom Ashrafkhanov emphasized.
He also underscored that Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations are actively developing across the political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres.
