On the sidelines of the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Connor Teskey, Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Asset Management.
During the meeting, they discussed existing cooperation and prospects for expanding the partnership between Azerbaijan and Brookfield Asset Management.
Taking into account the company’s global investment activities focused on real assets, the sides exchanged views on potential projects and investment sectors of interest in Azerbaijan.
The sides reviewed opportunities for investment in energy transition, energy storage, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and other areas.
The meeting highlighted ongoing efforts in Azerbaijan to further improve the investment climate, expand cooperation with international investors, and promote large-scale investment projects.
