“The Netherlands ranks among the world’s leading countries in water resource management, and Azerbaijan and the Netherlands have broad opportunities for cooperation,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a joint press conference with his Dutch counterpart, Tom Berendsen.
Noting that Azerbaijan intends to clean up 12 lakes on the Absheron Peninsula, Bayramov emphasized: “We would like to leverage the Netherlands’ experience and the capabilities of relevant Dutch companies.”
“Currently, two Dutch companies are operating in Garabagh. We do not rule out the possibility of further expanding cooperation in the future,” the foreign minister stated.
