MOBILE COMMUNICATION WITH NORTH AMERICA ESTABLISHED

Mobile communication leader in Azerbaijan Azercell Telecom JV, having signed bilateral roaming agreements with Canadian and Mexican operators, widened the opportunities of its subscribers in the sphere of international communication.
The agreement was concluded with a new partner of Azercell Telecom in the North America TelCel operator, functioning in GSM 1900 standards in Mexico. In the result of this agreement, the Azercell Telecom subscribers gained the opportunity to communicate with the North American countries by mobile phones.
In addition, Azercell signed an agreement with new roaming partner from India – BPL Mobile Cellular LTD (Tamilnadu).
Totally, Azercell Telecom JV concluded roaming agreements with 159 operators from 76 countries.
