Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives: Malaysia fully supports all international resolutions on Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity

Chairman of Malaysia-Azerbaijan Friendship Group, Deputy Speaker of Malaysian House of Representatives Ronald Kiandee has expressed his country`s full support for international resolutions on Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
In a letter sent to head of the Azerbaijan-Malaysia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Mahir Aslanov, he said Malaysia backs Azerbaijan’s just position.
“The Malaysia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Parliament of Malaysia hereby states that it fully supports all resolutions that were adopted by the United Nations (UN) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) pertaining to the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. The stand we take is consistent with Malaysia’s stand on this matter.”
“We, the Malaysia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Parliament of Malaysia emphatically support the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC’s resolution which states;
‘The Aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan’ and ‘Destruction and Desecration of the Islamic Historical and Cultural Heritage and Places of Worship in the Occupied Azerbaijani Lands as a Result of the Aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan’. At the same time, we are totally in support of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers’ classification to the merciless killing of large numbers of Khojaly genocide,” Malaysia-Azerbaijan Friendship Groups said.
The Malaysia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Parliament of Malaysia fully supports the United Nations General Assembly’s (UNGA’s) Resolution 62/243 referred to as ‘The Situation in the Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan’ adopted at its 62nd General Assembly on 14 March 2008. The Group supports Resolution 62/243 which reinforces the ‘continued respect and support to the independence of the boundaries’ of Azerbaijan ‘as boundaries which are recognized at the international level’.
The Malaysia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Parliament of Malaysia further supports Resolution 62/243 which urges Armenia to pull out all of its military troops, from all of its occupied territories in Azerbaijan, without reservations with immediate effect. The Malaysia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Parliament of Malaysia also emphasizes that ‘no country should give any aid or assistance’ to Armenia to further attack the territories of Azerbaijan.”
“We, the Malaysia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Parliament of Malaysia reiterate that we fully support the Resolutions adopted by the UN and the OIC regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Malaysia-Azerbaijan Friendship Group said.
