11TH SITTING OF THE MINISTERIAL COUNCIL OF OSCE TO BE HELD IN HOLLAND
The 11th sitting of the Ministerial Council of OSCE /Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe/ courtiers is due from 1 to 2 December in Maastricht, Holland. The sitting was initiated by the present OSCE chairman, Foreign Minister of Netherlands Jaap de Hoop Scheffer whose term of office expires in late December 2003. The meeting reportedly is expected to discuss some measures on fighting terrorism, human trafficking and cut off the channels of drugs delivery. The Council consisted of 55 OSCE Foreign Ministers is going to consider vital issues at the end of this year.
As was mentioned, the last year’s sitting of the Council resulted in charter on fight against terrorism and its manifestations.
