Turkish MP hails his country`s relationship with Azerbaijan as exemplary

Head of the Turkey-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group at the Turkish parliament Samil Ayrim has praised relations between the two countries as exemplary. Ayrim led a large delegation of the friendship group who met with their Azerbaijani counterparts at the Milli Majlis. He hailed cooperation between the two countries, in particular in the field of education. Ayrim also highlighted energy cooperation, emphasizing the importance of the Star Oil Refinery. “The refinery is Azerbaijan's biggest investment in Turkey,” he added.

Head of Azerbaijan-Turkey inter-parliamentary friendship group Ahliman Amiraslanov said the two countries enjoy excellent cooperation in all areas, in particular political, economic, humanitarian, educational and health ones. “Personal friendship between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan play a key role in developing this cooperation as well as inter-parliamentary relations,” Amiraslanov added.
