Saudi Arabia confirms drone, missile attacks on Aramco oil port, facilities

A drone attacked a Saudi oil port and a ballistic missile targeted facilities of energy giant Aramco in the country's east on Sunday, the energy ministry said, according to Al Arabiya English.

A drone that was used to attack a petroleum tank farm at Ras Tanura port was launched from the sea, according to an official statement, while shrapnel from a ballistic missile fell near Aramco's residential area in Dhahran.

Both attacks did not result in any injury or loss of life or property, authorities from Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry confirmed.
