    Azerbaijani, Uzbek academies of sciences ink MoU

    Baku, June 22, AZERTAC

    The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on scientific cooperation.

    The document was signed by Acting President of ANAS, academician Arif Hashimov and President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, academician Bekhzod Yuldashev.

    Prior to the signing ceremony, Arif Hashimov met with Bekhzod Yuldashev, as well as vice-presidents of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Sirojiddin Mirzaev and Bakhrom Abdukhalimov.

    The sides discussed opportunities for cooperation between the academies of sciences of the two countries.
